You know you have done too many beach missions if...

This was an amusing thing i found in the SUnews (Autum 2007) it's by Brendan Edmunds.

You know you have done too many beach missions if...

you know 4 meanings of SUFM and forgot the real one

you hear "who are we?" one more time you'll go nuts

you were strangled to death with your own nametag

you only see the beach on your day off

you think there's nothing about being followed by a small crowd of small children

you know where to scrounge any equipment you want, even if it includes a stereo, a photocopier, a caravan, a fighter jet, or a small nuclear reactor

you have a tent named after you

your team leader asks YOU "is that ok?"

no one pays attention to you when you say this is your last year

you wander down the streets dressed as a elephant and think it is normal

you atomaticly tighten the ropes of any tent you walk past

you've drunk cordial with ants or grass in it

the park owners haven't seen you for 355 days but still remember you

you are referred to as a charater you haven't played for 5 years

you get post traumatic stress when you hear Colin Buchanan

you wake up at 2am chanting "in the big tent... now!"

I'm back!!!

Camp was good and the food was absolutely FANTASTIC! There's quite a bunch of new people in the grade so it was a nicer way to meet them than at school.

We got our timetables today, yay for lots of frees! (20 over a fortnight). And for those who know how much i 'loved' my english teacher the last 2 years, i have the same teacher again... joy...

anywho, time to do other more useful stuff than sitting around here typing about school...

Hehe, now that that's out of the way... i should give a bit of an update about the last week, as not much was in the last blog about it. Well, my cousin (the one who possibly had ms, but doesn't) went back to hospital for more tests, don't know results yet. Third day concert was fantastic! as were pancakes afterwards...  other than that not much else of interest has happend. Parents & Ben were away for the weekend though, so the house has been rather quiet. yay.

anyhow, school goes back this week (if you hadn't figured by my sudden re-appearance to my blog and the beginings of procrastination again...)

long time no blog...

Yes, i am aware that has been a really really long time since my last blog. Maybe i'll just have to make this one extra long to make up for it... just warning you though, i'm in a bit of an odd mood so this could end up really random. You have now been officially warned, read on at your own risk...

Brief Updatage.
Beach mission was awesome. Weather was a little dodge, it did clear up by the end though and we got a few sunny days. A Keenite accepted Jesus on the last day, which was also awesome. Praise God.

After Beach Mission, I had a few days of not much before the holidays went crazy again. Stuff has just been popping up here, there and everywhere. (Kinda like popcorn... but not) I saw Night at the Museum (mutiple times...) and Eragon both of which were rather good. Went to Jazz in the domain with family plus others, which was also was rather good. Then went to Maitland with Sarah, yay, for lots of swimming, shopping and general randomness. In-between everything has been work, which has been really quiet since Christmas (except for today... that was a lil crazy) and quiet work means that I stand around getting bored all afternoon... what fun!!

And I think I’ll stop updating now, cuz if I go on much longer it won’t be brief anymore, making the title wrong. And if you are really that interested in knowing all the details of my last few weeks, most likely you already know them and don’t depend on my blog for that information.

Now for a song...

So what becomes of those small unwanted souls Who spend their lives breaking their backs? Those who dig the gold for the rich and powerful Who place their feet upon their necks?

The Shepherd is the Lamb Do you understand That God became a man? The Shepherd is the Lamb

Where can the junkies go when high has laid them low? Are they truly on their own? It seems we've lost our way Like sheep we have gone astray Can anybody lead us home?

The Shepherd is the Lamb Do you understand That God became a man? The Shepherd is the Lamb

The Shepherd is the Lamb Do you understand That God became a man? The Shepherd is the Lamb

Who is the champion? The friend of the suffering? Of those who were never born? The King with the crown of thorns And I'll consecrate a verse To the kingdom in reverse Where the least are most And the last will be the first

The Shepherd is the Lamb Do you understand That God became a man? The Shepherd is the Lamb

The Shepherd is the Lamb Do you understand That God became a man? The Shepherd is the Lamb

Yay for The Supertones.

Merry Christmas To all!

Yay!! That means i'm off to beach mission tomorrow! (that also means that this place will remain rather unactive for another 2 weeks or so, but after that it should return to normal)

Well, till i return have a lovely time and a wonderful New Year!

But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
Luke 1:30-33
